During my stay, the bedding was quite uncomfortable, as there was no top sheet, only a scratchy comforter. Also, the close proximity of the third bedroom to the living area made it impossible to have any privacy, which was frustrating. To top it off, a late-night knock to enforce a window closure was unnecessary and very disturbing.

Had an amazing time at Skalatjorn! The goats were super sweet and Helena's warm hospitality was lovely. The place is super comfy and well-equipped, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure, though the knife could use an upgrade. A great stay!

Our stay was delightful, especially in the cozy apartment above the goat barn where we felt right at home. The warmth of our hosts, Helena and Stefan, made a lasting impression, and we had a wonderful time meeting their friendly goats during the included tour. We just stayed for a night, but wow, it felt like a whole new world! The best part was meeting Helena-she really took care of us and introduced us to her goats and the barn cat, which was unexpectedly nice.
